Our Founder’s Story

Our CEO, David T. Maccagnone, is a Vietnam War veteran and Purple Heart recipient. Dave enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served two tours of duty in Vietnam, earning the rank of Captain before being honorably discharged in 1975. He embarked on his career in the securities industry after returning home and now coaches other veterans and professionals in the financial services industry.

Dave was honored on Crain’s Detroit Business’s List of Notable Veterans in 2020; honorees were selected by a team of Crain’s Detroit Business editors based on their career accomplishments, track record of success in their field, contributions to their community and mentorship of others.
